The Joan Fuster Municipal Library

The Municipal Library occupies the building of the former slaughterhouse, and it was built in 1901 according to the plans of the architect Luis Ferreres. It is a modernist building with two lateral bodies covered with gables, and a central one that unites them and where we can see the local shield. There are solid brick courses on the sides of the building and the interior is made with stone masonry and has large lowered arched windows with cast iron bars.
