The 30th of July is the feast of Saints “Abdón” and “Senén“, popularly known as ‘els sants de la pedra’(Saints of the Stone), as they are the advocates against hailstorms and under their patronage is the patron saint of farmers and the countryside, a widespread devotion in the territories of the former Crown of Aragon and in many of the European Mediterranean countries.
